Strategic Planning
What is it?
This is about looking ahead and reaching agreement about decisions and actions that will shape and guide an organisation taking into consideration who it serves, what it does, and why it does it. Effective strategic planning does not just tell us where we are going; it lays out the actions needed to make progress, and measure success.
What difference does it make?
It ensures employees and stakeholders are working toward the same goals, and their energy is focused and aligned.
How does it work?
A facilitated process in which an organisation or team defines its strategy. A process of looking ahead and agreeing on what success looks like before setting priorities.
Praise for Strategic Planning Workshop
The Sands NZ Board cannot thank you enough for the wonderful work you did for us on Saturday. It was such a crucial piece of work we needed to do and every one of the board members felt it was invaluable in setting us in the right direction. We were so impressed with the ease in which you were able to pull together all our collective thoughts into our vision, purpose, and strategic direction.
Although achieving our new strategic vision is a lot of work, it now feels very achievable as it has all been broken down with accountabilities. I have been telling lots of people what an amazing job you did as a facilitator.
On a personal note, I have done a lot of strategic planning with different groups and yours was by far head and shoulders the best.
Thank you.
